Inaho Sushi.
An ultra micro restaurant created within the footprint of a single domestic garage in Notting Hill! The project demonstrates how careful planning and restraint can transform a small space into something refined and characterful. An intelligent design to make even the smallest space functional, balancing the precision of Japanese dining with the warmth of a considered interior.
Working within tight spatial limits, the design made every detail count - from bespoke joinery to the open sushi counter that placed the chef at the heart of the experience. Despite its modest size housing just nine tables, the space felt calm, composed and deliberately crafted rather than constrained.
Fast forward a few years, we have now reimagined as a two-bedroom detached micro-house, once again using the full potential of the same garage-sized shell. Full planning has been received for this residential build and we hope to see this realised soon.
