Capstone House.

This project replaces a small two-up two-down cottage with a contemporary rebuild, designed to make the most of its elevated position overlooking the Capstone Country Park lake. Planning permission was secured to remove the original dwelling and deliver a modern home with improved space, daylight and functionality. The design is centred around a first-floor glazed gable, carefully positioned to frame long views across the water and bring strong natural light into the main living areas. A simple gabled form, combined with a restrained mix of white render, brickwork and timber detailing, gives the house a clean architectural character that sits comfortably within its rural setting.
